I’m hoping that we’ll be able to have Christmas morning breakfast this year in our newly-painted dining room, so this type of family photo tree will be the perfect backdrop..

It smells like tea!🙂 Quite possibly my favorite candle ever..

So if you’re a scented candle fan, definitely try this tip out, save yourself some money, and enjoy freshening your home for just a little bit longer!.This post contains affiliate links.I get so many questions about the paint colors in our home, that I figured I should just go ahead and write a post about it already!I usually end up giving a quick answer in the comments section of a post or in an email, but I thought maybe I could also just link to this post in the future and hopefully that will be a little more helpful for people.

Plus, I love talking about paint colors!.I think I’ve really settled on a great palette of colors for our home that seems to work no matter what the season is or how many times I decide to tweak my design style.

Obviously that’s important to me because I’m always changing things up for the seasons and to share here on the blog and I don’t want to be repainting every  month!.

The one color you’ll see more than any other color in my home is from CIL paints and is called Zeppelin.I always thought it seemed so versatile and I could use it in so many different applications.

The problem is that I didn’t use it.It just sat there collecting dust.. Now I’ll have an occasion to use it every year at Halloween!.

I cleaned the vase up and I gathered my supplies..I used this small bottle of chalkboard paint from DecoArt for this one.
