This is one stunning season.
of the methods below!OK, so by now you must know, even if you’ve only been reading this blog for 5 minutes, that I’m not a “Oh here’s the before shot of my room and then, BAM, here you have my after” kind of girl.. I’m more of a “OK, so here’s the before shot, and now here’s one of the durings, and then here’s another during shot, and oh, here’s a thought I had during month 7 of this here little project, oh and now 3 months later, here’s another shot of this tiny bit of progress” kind of girl.Just keepin’ it real here..

So here’s how the room is looking now after (some) of my parents came and helped me paint the room. You know how it is.Modern families and all that.. Well, what are you doing standing out there?.

We painted this original door white. The color is Martha Stewart Picket Fence, which I’ve decided is “my white” because of it being perfect..

The rest of the room was painted Martha Stewart Sisal.
The green feature ceiling is a color called “1990’s dental office” but I don’t know who makes it.. Just kidding!.The pieces that you cut off will start with dry out so that they aren’t taking any energy from the new shoots and the roots will grow like crazy!.
Change the water out every 2 or 3 days to keep things fresh and happy and harvest your green onions whenever you need them for a salad or a recipe.. Once you have a good root system going, you can go ahead and plant them in your garden or in a pot on the patio if you like and if it’s the right time of year! There are quite a few different things that you buy at the grocery store that you can re-grow at home, but this one is the easiest that I’ve come across so far, so of course it’s my favorite!.
Have you ever tried re-growing grocery store fruits and veggies before? If not, make sure you give this one a try next time you have the chance!I think it’s time for my yearly-ish living room update that seems to have become a tradition around here, don’t you?
