Today I want to show you another project I’ve been working on for the “decor” part of the room with some of those fun fabrics that.
Say, sitting around somewhere like an attic or a basement.Just one lowly stool.” Oh wait!

This was just a plain square stool.Full counter height and from Ikea a few years ago.We cut it down to an unconventional height so it would fit exactly how I wanted it.

I think it’s 23 and 1/4 inches..I found this pretty leafy looking fabric for $5 a yard at the fabric store not too far from here.

This place has tons of fabric choices on clearance!
It’s like fabric heaven!I always love a whole bunch of different books on a bookshelf, no matter what the room!.
Symmetry makes it special. For me, the finishing touch to make a room feel like it’s really been well thought-out, even if it was just thrown together, is to add in just a bit of symmetry here and there.
It’s a neat trick to have up your sleeve to make a room instantly feel a little more grown-up no matter what kind of space you’re working with.. We’ve just loved having this room “finished” and more useable for the whole family. While we have a big kitchen table with room to seat as many people as we like, it’s nice to have this little room that’s the perfect size for just the four of us.
