OK, there are a few changes since this photo in April, but I mainly wanted to draw your attention to the mattress.We used to have a little cheap one on there, from the time she was about 2, just in case of any “accidents”.

Well, she never really had any bed-wetting issues, but 5 years later, we still had that sad little mattress.. We put both a new mattress and a box spring on the bed, thinking the extra box spring would be ridiculous, since this bed isn’t really meant to have one, but it actually ended up looking really great.. It’s super-tall, but didn’t they have super-tall beds back in the day when this house was built?Either that or straw, and we’re probably not going to be going THAT authentic any time soon..I added a bit to the gallery wall too and I really, really like where it’s going.
